Stoic Library uses secure tools to prepare, review, schedule, and publish educational short-form content to TikTok. This page explains how our TikTok integration works and how we protect your data.
How It Works
Authorized account owners can connect their TikTok accounts through a secure authentication process. Once connected, they can:
- Upload video files for review and approval
- Schedule content for future publication
- Add titles, descriptions, and captions
- Publish approved videos directly to TikTok
TikTok Login Kit
We use TikTok Login Kit to enable authorized users to securely connect their TikTok accounts. This authentication method:
- Allows you to authorize Stoic Library to access your TikTok account
- Does not give Stoic Library your TikTok password
- Provides only the permissions necessary to publish content
- Can be revoked at any time through your TikTok account settings
TikTok Content Posting API
We use TikTok's Content Posting API to upload and publish approved videos on behalf of authorized account owners. This means:
- Video files are uploaded securely to TikTok's servers
- Metadata (titles, descriptions, captions) are transmitted securely
- Content is published exactly as you have approved it
- All interactions with TikTok comply with their platform policies
No Automatic Publishing
Nothing is posted to TikTok automatically. Every piece of content requires your explicit approval before publication. You are always in control of what gets posted and when.
Data Protection
What We Do Protect
- No Data Selling: We do not sell your TikTok account data, authentication tokens, or any personal information to third parties
- No Profiling: We do not use TikTok data for advertising, targeting, or behavioral profiling
- No Secondary Use: We do not create other products or services from your TikTok account information
- Secure Storage: Authentication tokens and account credentials are stored securely and encrypted
Media Hosting
Approved video files may be temporarily hosted on https://media.stoic-library.com during processing and publishing workflows. These files are:
- Only accessible to authorized users
- Encrypted and securely transmitted
- Automatically deleted after publication or after a reasonable storage period
- Never shared with third parties
Account Disconnection
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your Stoic Library account settings or through your TikTok account's app authorization page. When you disconnect:
- We immediately revoke all authentication tokens
- We delete all stored credentials and temporary data
- No further access to your TikTok account is possible through Stoic Library
- Published content remains on TikTok (as expected)
- You can reconnect later if you choose
TikTok Platform Compliance
All use of TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API strictly complies with TikTok's platform policies, developer terms, and community guidelines. We are committed to responsible use of these tools and respect all TikTok policies regarding content, creator rights, and platform integrity.

- Know what data we collect and how we use it
- Control your TikTok account connection at any time
- Request information about your stored data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Disconnect your TikTok account without penalty
